Friday Nov 19, 2021
Friday Nov 19, 2021
Nicole Odom-Hardnett was born in Fort Lee, Virginia. Born to military parents, she traveled a lot--living in Virginia, Louisiana, Utah, Germany and Maryland. In 2010, she founded Focus Point Solutions, LLC. Initially founded as a transitional housing program, it later became a chain of Assisted Living facilities and then eventually Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment programs and Mental Health Centers. Currently, she has four locations in Maryland and still has plans for expansion to other states.
She is a published author of three books Blended to Perfection and Dating Made Simple For Women, and Nick Jr’s Hat Adventures. She is currently working on three more books—She is married to Thomas Hardnett, Jr, and together, they have 7 very different and dynamic adult children--plus 1 grandson. Her first book, entitled, Blended to Perfection, is partially based on obstacles in her life along with the challenges of bringing the families together in the same house, while dealing with inside and outside forces that were determined to see the union fail. After a rough start and hard work, her family is now blended to perfection.

Incredible interview about Jungle Jean with Geralyn Gendreau
Monday Nov 15, 2021
Monday Nov 15, 2021
Geralyn Gendreau is a licensed psychotherapist since 1995, Geralyn is a playful, soul-provoking life coach who believes one of the keys to happiness is being able to laugh at yourself. She is the author of JUNGLE JEAN, the biography of her mentor, Jean Liedloff, who traveled into the pristine regions of the Venezuelan rainforest back in the 1950s and subsequently wrote a seminal book, THE CONTINUUM CONCEPT, which became a childrearing classic.
In her work with clients, Geralyn assists adults who did not have a fully enriched infancy and childhood (i.e.: most of us), to see and feel the very real impact of “missing experiences.” The insight, understanding, and self-knowledge gained gives them new freedom and the courage to live a fully actualized life. She shows people how to "transmogrify" their everyday experience by leaning into the joy that is our natural state. Geralyn loves to share the story of how she learned to turn life’s many challenges into sources of energy rather than energy-sucking problems that put the kibosh on her life force. Geralyn has been deeply influenced by a decades-long fascination with Littlewood's Law of Miracles, which states that any individual can expect to experience an outrageous event every thirty days. She is a blackbelt martial artist, salad aficionado, and renowned hair chameleon. Her favorite brain hack is jumping out of an airplane.Geralyn's website is: www.junglejean.com

Cheryl Meyer explains what toxins are in food, air and everything

Friday Oct 29, 2021
Why is Cheryl M Health Muse the perfect person to walk you back to health?
She too had horrible pain that no one understood. She woke up every morning more tired than when she went to bed. She had brain fog and had to have 2-3 cups of coffee to function. Every joint and every muscle in her body hurt. She was in a long terms relationship where her partner was upset that she didn’t want to go out all the time. She was increasingly sensitive to products, perfumes, mascara, under arm deodorant, fabric softener, her cosmetics. She couldn’t clean without getting sick. She hated being sick all the time and just wanted to pull the covers over her head. She was girl interrupted. Most of all, she was frustrated because no one understood.
Her conventional MD ran multiple tests and came back saying nothing was wrong with her, she should seek therapy and she threw steroids at her.
Why would Cheryl take steroids if there was nothing wrong with her. She knew something was very wrong.
She refused a life of pain and pills, turned her business over to her staff and dug in, not even knowing what to look for.
Five years later, she had learned ways to control her stress, eliminated hundreds of toxins from her life, found a functional MD who diagnosed her as having autoimmune disease and….wait for it….Cheryl was back to NO PAIN.
Cheryl began to run into other people who also were having a hard time being heard by their doctor. In the grocery store, in other places where she shopped. At her Chamber of Commerce meetings, everywhere. She decided to go back to school to gain credibility as a health coach. After 5 years of intensive research and helping to heal herself, she knew she could make a difference but she didn’t think her BA in English from Berkeley was enough to convince people that she knew what she was talking about.
So at 67 Cheryl returned to school. At the end of the program, they asked if she would like to write a book, and she knew she had a book waiting to write itself. She started writing in Nov 2016 and finished 400 pages by Jan 2017, After it was published, it has won 14 awards.
Cheryl has spoken at local hospitals and churches, and to business groups. In 18 months she did over 130 podcasts as a guest, She wants to share the information that she discovered to give others with chronic illness hope that they do not need to live a life of pain and pills. The Fear Factor with guest Jacqueline Wales

Jacqueline Wales
An astute observer of behavior, I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles incredibly interesting and courageous. As the author of When The Crow Sings, The Fearless Factor, The Fearless Factor @ Work, and soon to be published Fearless Women Leading The Way, I’ve explored human behavior and asked tough questions to discover hard truths for more than 35 years. While observing and talking with thousands of people over several decades, I’ve come to understand that the challenges we all confront are not much different—no matter who you are or what you’re doing in life. I am a writer, a singer, and a global nomad who lived and traveled on three continents, developed a passion for martial arts earning a black belt in karate, and now an avid Crossfit athlete. I’m an active co-partner in a long-term marriage and along the way, I became the mother of four children who have grown up to be amazing adults. I believe that being fearless is not the absence of fear but the courage to take the next step. Contact: jacqueline@jacquelinewales.comWebsite: www.jacquelinewales.com
